Our KAKE Sports student athlete of the week is one of the busiest athletes on the Northwest High School campus.

Robert Rawlings is a star defender for the Grizzlies' soccer team. Northwest defeated Goddard 7-0 this week. Rawlings and his teammates did not allow a shot on goal in the win.

On Fridays you can find Rawlings on the Northwest football squad. He's a kicking specialist. In last week's win over Wichita North, he booted four kickoffs out of the end zone. This is his first season playing football.

Rawlings is getting attention from college football and soccer teams. He plans to play football in college, but he hasn't decide where he'll go to school.
