And the tradition continues.. as one of their own.. goes for yet another state title this weekend.
His name is Ulysses Deshazer...he comes from wrestling royalty.
A family of successful wrestlers in the City League over the last decade.
Let's just say... it's all in the genes.
A 30-2 record on the mat this season... Ulysses is using those two defeats as motivation to power his way to a championship.
And ironically enough...family & friends don't acknowledge the senior by his birthname.
Instead, it's something more fitting to how he neutralizes his opponents.
And he'll need that quickness.. if he wants to continue that Deshazer tradition on Saturday.
