The quarterback of the defending state champs, and a state champion wrestler, made sure the Falcons offensive juggernaut picked up right where they left off in a season opening win over Bishop Carroll
Reed rused for 231 yards and 2 TD's and added a passing touchdown.
"Nothing Matt does surprises me really. He's very dynamic and he's such a competitor." said Heights head coach Rick Wheeler.
Reed credited his team mates.
"We're a team," he said after the game. "One person doesn't make a team. We all put in work and we get the yards and we get the win."
