The Hutchinson Salt Hawks are in a unique position. For the first time since the start of the 2004 season they aren't defending state champions. Hutch lost to Bishop Carroll in last season's playoffs. "Every year's different, every team's different, we've got to rebound and make our mark with this team," said head coach Randy Dreiling.

The Salthawks will be led by quarterback Trevor Turner and running back Ja'Mon Cotton.

Hutch opens at Rockhurst, MO. on September 2nd.
