The Panthers scored touchdowns on its first six drives, take a 48-0 lead into halftime.
"I'm proud of the way the boys came out and played this evening," said Derby head coach Brandon Clark "The defense played well and the offensive did a great job. It's hard to find many faults in their performance."
Kellen Sims stepped in at quarterback and was a perfect 3-for-3 for 80 yards in the first half with touchdown passes to Luke Palmer for 32 yards and DeAndre Goolsby for 41 yards. Sims also had nine rushes for another 78 yards and a touchdown.
After battling an injury early in the season, running back Tyler West had a big game with three touchdowns (5 yards, 34 yards and 60 yards) in the first half.
Devin Peter also ran back kicks for touchdowns from 40-and 56-yards out, including Derby's only touchdown in the second half.
Derby's defense did its part, holding Southeast to one first down and 49 total offensive yards in the first half.
