Heights' Ellis Named National Player Of The Year

Wichita Heights High School star Perry Ellis has been named the national sophomore player of the year by ESPN Rise.

Ellis led the Falcons to a second straight state title by averaging 22.2 points and 10.4 rebounds.

Ellis has been named Gatorade player of the year in Kansas the last two seasons.
