From Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School, to Kansas State University, to the NFL. Anthony Cantele fulfilled his long-time goal Monday, agreeing to terms with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cantele earned second team All-Big 12 honors in his senior season with the Wildcats.
"It's just interesting to me how I was talking to all of these teams and they were saying 'Hey, we're going to sign you,' and then they go and sign someone else. It just shows you how competitive it is," Cantele said.
He will compete with NFL veteran kickers Connor Barth and Nate Kaeding for a spot on the Bucs roster.
