Shocker basketball fans saw something last night they haven't seen in 30 years, and it took a review of the videotape to confirm it.
Ehimen Orukpe was credited with seven blocked shots in Wichita State's win over Southern Illinois Wednesday.
Wichita State released a statement today saying after several requests to review the tape they found that Orukpe actually blocked nine shots.
The nine blocks were the most since Robert Elmore blocked nine shots against Bradley on Jan. 15, 1977.
