The state's top high school swimmers are in Topeka for the state championship swim meet.
Classes 5-1A take part in finals Saturday morning.
Kate Wickham of Wichita Independent won the 200 freestyle. Betty Fuhr of Newton took first place in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke.
Audra Hansen of Andover took the gold medal in the 50 freestyle. Hansen also won the 100 freestyle.
In Class 6A, Wichita North's Abbey Lassley won the 100 backstroke.
