The Wichita Wingnuts lost 9-4 to the Gary SouthShore RailCats in Game One of the 2013 American Association Championship Series at U.S. Steel Yard on Tuesday night.

The RailCats rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a 4-3 Wingnuts' lead. Reid Fronk led off with a line drive single to right and took second on Ryan Babineau's pinch-hit line drive single to center. After Brian Kolb walked, Nick Liles drew a pinch-hit walk to load the bases. Zac Mitchell was then hit by a pitch to force in the tying run. Danny Pulfer followed with a two-run double that was just fair down the right field line. Adam Klein made it 7-4 with a sacrifice fly to center field.

RBIs from Kolb and Liles in the bottom of the eighth accounted for the RailCats' final two runs.

Wichita scored first for a fourth straight postseason game in the top of the second. C.J Ziegler drew a leadoff walk, went to second on a single up the middle from Abel Nieves, and took third on Cole Armstrong's lineout to left-center. Gary tied the game in the bottom of the fifth when Pulfer and Klein hit back-to-back doubles.

Klein drew a bases loaded, two-out walk in the top of the sixth to force in the go-ahead run. Mike Massaro followed with an infield single to third base that made it 3-1 in favor of the RailCats.

The Wingnuts re-took the lead in the top of the seventh. An Amberson infield single and a Ryan Khoury walk set up a three-run home run to left-center from Jake Kahaulelio.
