NW Florida State College's Tevin Glass signs with WSU

Wichita State picked up its first signing of the spring period from Northwest Florida State College star Tevin Glass on Friday.

Glass visited the campus earlier in the week and signed with the Shockers Friday morning, posting on his Twitter account, "Just officially signed with Wichita st. Its been a roller coaster I like to thank God, my family, my friends and everyone who supports me!"

The 205 pound forward who stands 6'8" earned 2014 All-Panhandle Conference honors and said WSU assistant coach Steve Forbes, who coached Glass as a freshman at Northwest Florida State College, was instrumental in his recruiting process.

Glass averaged 12 points and 6 rebounds per game during his sophomore season.
