The attendance record at INTRUST Bank Arena was broken Wednesday night, when the Oklahoma City Thunder played the Dallas Mavericks in an NBA preseason game.
The game was sold out, and brought in a record 15,004 guests.
"We are humbled by the loyal support of our fans in Wichita - culminating with the record attendance at INTRUST Bank Arena," said Brian Byrnes, Oklahoma City Thunder Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing. "Our players, coaches and staff appreciate the enthusiastic environment and look forward to returning soon."
Oklahoma City defeated Dallas 88-76 in their final preseason game, which also marked the first time the arena has hosted an NBA game since opening in 2010.
