K-State's Collin Klein and Arthur Brown, along with TCU's Jaden Oberkrom have been named Big 12 Football Players of the Week, as selected by a media panel. Klein (offense) picked up his second award of the season and third in his career. Brown (defense) was recognized for the second time in his career while Oberkrom (special teams) earned his first honor.
Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week

Collin Klein accounted for seven touchdowns and completed 19-of-21 passes for a career-high 323 yards (266.82 rating) to lead the Wildcats to a 55-14 win over West Virginia. It was K-State's school-record fourth straight road win over a ranked opponent. With his four rushing touchdowns against WVU, Klein set the NCAA FBS record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in two consecutive seasons with 41. His 47 career rushing touchdowns are a K-State record, surpassing Darren Sproles' 45. The senior has thrown for 1,397 yards and 10 touchdowns while rushing for 551 yards and 14 scores on the year. Klein was also named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week.
Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week
Arthur Brown, K-State, LB, Sr, Wichita.
Arthur Brown led a K-State defense that held West Virginia to just 243 total yards, including 155 through the air. Brown carded eight tackles, including a pair for losses. He also registered his second career interception, which ended Geno Smith's streak of consecutive passes without an interception. The senior linebacker's first career pick came against Baylor's Robert Griffin III last season and ended his consecutive passes streak without an interception.
Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week
Jaden Oberkrom, TCU, PK, Fr, Arlington, Texas
Jaden Oberkrom set TCU and Big 12 single-game records with six field goals in the Horned Frogs' triple-overtime loss to Texas Tech. He was 6-of-6 on field goals with kicks from 32, 41, 32, 45, 42 and 38 yards. The freshman's 42-yard field goal with 18 seconds left in regulation forced overtime. He was also 5-of-5 on PATs. Oberkrom scored 23 points to also set Big 12 and school records for points scored by kicking in a game. He is 14-of-16 on field goals for the season and has made 14 of his last 15 attempts.
