KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Kansas City defensive end Jared Allen
says listening to TV football analysts can be frustrating.
Allen sat out Kansas City's first two games because of his NFL
suspension, so he had a chance to watch Sunday games. He says that
at times, he wanted to tell the commentators that they didn't know
what they were talking about.
Allen has 271/2 sacks in his first three seasons, and he says he
worked out faithfully during his two-week suspension for
drunken-driving convictions.
Coach Herm Edwards put him back on the first team when the
Chiefs returned to practice today for Sunday's home opener against
the Minnesota Vikings.
