KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Kansas City Chiefs are off to an
0-and-2 start for the second year in a row. And they've scored only
13 points in road losses at Chicago and Houston.
Kansas City also began last season 0-and-2, while scoring only
16 points. But last year the Chiefs rebounded to win nine of their
final 14 games and earn a wild card playoff berth.
Coach Herm Edwards says the Chiefs will keep doing what we have
to, and they'll get better.
Kansas City ranks 31st out of 32 NFL teams in scoring. The
Chiefs are 28th in total yards, 27th in rushing yards, 24th in
passing yardage and 30th in third-down efficiency.
The Chiefs play the Minnesota Vikings (1-1) on Sunday in their
Defensive end Jared Allen returns Sunday. He was suspended by
the league for the first two games.
