KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Gil Meche (mesh) scattered four hits
over seven innings and Billy Butler drove in two runs as the Kansas
City Royals beat the Chicago White Sox 3-2.
Meche is 9-and-12. He has a 2.90 ERA over his past eight starts.
The Royals jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first when the first
four batters collected hits off Gavin Floyd, who fell to 1-and-3.
