Wichita State’s men’s basketball season tickets for the 2007-08 season have been sold out, the Wichita State Athletic Department announced today.
Fans on the waiting list that did not receive season tickets will be kept on the waiting list for next season.
The only single game tickets that will be available for the 2007-08 season will be student tickets that are not picked up and tickets that visiting teams return to WSU, and those made available on Ticket Marketplace.
Now in its second year, WSU sponsors an online ticket program, Shocker Ticket Marketplace, which enables men’s basketball season ticket holders to sell unused tickets and new buyers to purchase them online at www.goshockers.com. The online marketplace offers buyers access to inventory, including premium seats, and also gives the seller credit for the tickets they sold.
The Shocker Ticket Marketplace offers season ticket holders the option to sell tickets through a university-sanctioned site. Buyers gain access to tickets normally not available in the arena while supporting the university athletics program.
Season ticket holders who can’t attend home basketball games can go to the Shocker website and click on the link “Shocker Ticket Marketplace.” After logging onto the page, fans simply click on the tickets they are not using, and then click “sell”. Those tickets will then be available to the general public until four hours prior to game time.
Those buying tickets from the website can either have the tickets e-mailed to them and print them at home for free, or the ticket office will print the tickets and hold them at will call for a $5 fee. No tickets will be mailed. For further questions, please contact the ticket office at 316-978-FANS.
