Hutchinson Baseball Stays Alive In NJCAA World Series
Hutchinson Community College pitcher Daniel Tullos limited Temple (Texas) College to two runs on nine hits to lead Hutchinson to a 4-2 victory in an Alpine Bank Junior College World Series elimination game this afternoon at Suplizio Field.

Hutchinson Community College pitcher Daniel Tullos limited Temple (Texas) College to two runs on nine hits to lead Hutchinson to a 4-2 victory in an Alpine Bank Junior College World Series elimination game this afternoon at Suplizio Field.

The Blue Dragons broke a 2-2 tie when Shaun Hoover doubled to score Luke Acosta in the bottom of the eighth inning. Hoover scored on a sacrifice fly.

Andrew Urban came in the ninth to pick up his 11th save of the season, tying a single-season school record.

Hutchinson plays Game 17 of the tournament Thursday night. Temple is eliminated.
