ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Gerald Laird and Michael Young homered
to power the Texas Rangers past Kansas City 5-3.
The Royals had taken a 3-1 lead in the sixth. But the Rangers
answered with a four-run sixth capped by Laird's three-run homer.
Kevin Millwood struck out nine in seven innings to improve to
8-and-9. C.J. Wilson got four outs for his fifth save in six
chances. He has not been scored upon in 15 and a-third innings.
