BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) -- Former Kansas State quarterback Jonathan
Beasley was hired as receivers coach at Montana State.
Beasley played quarterback at Kansas State from 1996 to 2000. He
was team captain as a junior and senior and was M-V-P of the 2001
Cotton Bowl and 2000 Holiday Bowl.
Montana State coach Rob Ash says Beasley has a great knowledge
of offensive football and the passing game.
Beasley was a graduate assistant at Emporia State and a position
coach for high school football teams in Kansas and Arizona.
He played professionally with Jacksonville, Detroit and Green
Bay and with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football
League.
----
At Kansas State, Beasley finished with 46-hundred-42 career
passing yards for 30 touchdowns. He led K-State to a Big 12
championship game appearance against Oklahoma as a senior.
