ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Rams sign seventh-round draft
pick Keith Jackson to a three-year contract.
Terms of the deal announce today are not disclosed.
Jackson, a 315-pound defensive tackle from Arkansas, is the
third 2007 draft choice to sign with the Rams, who previously
signed third-round pick Jonathan Wade, a cornerback from Tennessee,
and another seventh-rounder, wide receiver Derek Stanley of
Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Jackson is the son of six-time Pro Bowl tight end Keith Jackson
Senior. He was an Associated Press all-Southeastern Conference
selection last season after registering 79 tackles, two-and-a-half
sacks and two interceptions.
