BRANSON, Mo. (AP) -- Most golfers don't ever get a hole-in-one.
But Branson golfer Mike Holman has nine -- and last month he
recorded two aces in the same week at Holiday Hills Golf Course.
What's even more remarkable is the 55-year-old Holman didn't
start playing the game until he was 30 years old. And he fired his
first hole-in-one less than a year after he started.
Holman has shot aces at several courses, including Park Hills
Country Club in Pratt, Kansas, and The Highlands in Hutchinson.
He's recorded five at Holiday Hills.
Golf Digest says the odds of a P-G-A Tour pro getting a
hole-in-one are one in 37-hundred-56, while an amatuer's are one in
