Dalonte Hill gets the pub as K-State's master recruiter, but Frank Martin's newest assistant arrives with some impressive recruiting victories as well.

Martin has announced the hiring of Matt Figger as the Wildcats' final assistant coach. Figger comes to Manhattan after spending a little more than five years as an assistant to John Pelphrey - first at South Alabama, then at The University of Arkansas.

Figger was hired as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Razorbacks on April 12, 2007 - but has opted to get back into the ranks of assistant coaching.

Figger spent a combined eight seasons at Odessa (TX) Community College and Vincennes (IN) University. At Vincennes, Figger helped recruit current Phoenix Suns forward Shawn Marion, and Tyrone Nesby. Both players went on to star at UNLV.
