Jayhawks Ranked Number 1 In College Hoops Poll

The USA Today-ESPN college basketball poll is out, and Kansas is the team to beat.
The Jayhawks are ranked first in the poll released today. KU received 27 of 31 first place votes. The Jayhawks are followed by Michigan State, Texas, North Carolina and Kentucky. Oklahoma is ranked 16th. Kansas State received votes, and finished 40th in the rankings.
Kansas returns its top nine scorers from last season, and has two pre-season All Americas in Cole Aldrich and Sherron Collins.
