Bucs Sign Former KSU Star

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed receiver Yamon Figurs and released linebacker Matt McCoy.

The Bucs also added offensive lineman Marc Dile to the practice
squad on Tuesday. Receiver Pat Carter and defensive tackle Rashaad
Duncan were released from the practice squad.

Figurs was waived by the Detroit Lions on Sept. 10. The former KSU star entered the NFL as a third-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2007 and has three receptions for 86 yards and one touchdown in 29 career games.

As a rookie, Figurs became the first Ravens player to return a
punt and kickoff for touchdowns in the same season.
