KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Kansas-Missouri football game is
coming to Kansas City. Officials from both schools plan to announce later today that the game will be played at Arrowhead Stadium beginning this fall.
A source, who asked not to be identified pending a formal
announcement, told The Associated Press this morning that each team
will play a home game in the series at Arrowhead.
The move has been discussed for many years but resisted by
merchants in Columbia and Lawrence.
Arrowhead, the 78,000-seat home of the Kansas City Chiefs,
has hosted several Big 12 championships and many major college
games. It is going to undergo a massive renovation starting this

played in Division I-A.
