December 30--A Winter storm that's dumping record amounts of snow is having an impact in Wichita.

The Wichita Thunder has cancelled its Saturday night game at the Kansas Coliseum. The team is stuck in Colorado.

Assistant General Manager Joel Lumurno sent this e-mail from Colorado.
"Saturday's home game versus Amarillo has been postponed due to the fact that our team, myself included, is stuck in Colorado. All routes East of Denver are closed, so we are uncertain when we can return. Tickets for Saturday's game can be exchanged for any future Thunder game. There are no refunds. Hopefully we will make it back for Sunday's home game versus Tulsa at 5:05 PM."
