Shockers Break Into Top Ten

December 4--For the first time since 1982, Wichita State is in college basketball's top ten. The Shockers come in as the tenth ranked team in the Associated Press college basketball poll, released today.

The top 25 teams in The Associated Press' college
basketball poll, with first-place votes in parentheses, records
through Dec. 3, total points based on 25 points for a first-place
vote through one point for a 25th-place vote and last week's
ranking:
