Shockers Move Into College Basketball Poll

November 20--Wichita State is back in the AP College Basketball poll--for the first time in 23 years. The Shockers are ranked 24th in the poll released today.

Kansas dropped from number 3 to number 10 after last week's loss to Oral Roberts.

Undefeated Florida easily holds on to the top spot for a third
straight week, with 66 first-place votes from the 72 member media
panel.

North Carolina remain second after receiving the other six
number-one votes.

Pittsburgh, Ohio State, U-C-L-A and L-S-U all moved up one place
from last week and are third through sixth. Wisconsin, Alabama and
Duke each jumped two places to seventh through ninth, while Kansas
dropped seven places to round out the Top Ten.

Texas A-and-M moved up one place to eleventh and was followed by
Memphis, Marquette, Georgetown, Arizona, Washington, Syracuse,
Connecticut, Georgia Tech and Kentucky.
The last five ranked teams are Nevada, Tennessee, Boston
College, Wichita State and Maryland.
