Wichita State will open NCAA play in Norman, Oklahoma. The Shockers will take on top seed Oklahoma in the opening round Friday night. Arkansas and Washington State are also in the Norman regional.
Wichita State advanced by winning the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. The Sooners and Shockers have met twice this season. Oklahoma won both games, 15-0 in Wichita, and 8-1 in Norman.

Kansas State is also in the NCAA field. KSU will be the second seed in the Houston regional, and will take on Xavier in the opening round. Rice is the top seed in the regional.
Kansas will play in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Jayhawks are the third seed and will play Coastal Carolina in the opening round. North Carolina is the top seed.
This is the first time all three Kansas teams have qualified for the NCAA tournament.
The Big 12 got eight teams into the tournament.
