The Kansas Jayhawks defeated Colorado 30 to 14.. Kansas trailed 7 to nothing when Jake Sharp ignited the running game in the 2nd quarter. Sharp scored KU's first points of the game on a 1 yard touchdown which tied the game at 7. Moments later, KU added a safety when Jake Lapted sacked Colorado quarterback Cody Hawkins in the endzone.
Kansas got the air attack going in the 3rd quarter when Todd Reesing hooked up with Dezmon Briscoe for a 5 yard score. The touchdown capped a long drive that put KU up 16 to 7.
KU added two fourth quarter touchdowns from Salina, KS native Jake Sharp to win 30 to 14. Sharp rushed 31 times for 118 yards and 3 touchdowns. Quarterback Todd Reesing had another productive day, completing 27 of 34 passes for 256 yards and a touchdown.
KU improves to (5-1) and will play at Oklahoma next Saturday.
