FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brodie
Croyle left today's 17 to10 loss to the New England Patriots with a
bruised right shoulder.
Croyle was replaced by backup Damon Huard. Huard almost led a Kansas City comeback, but the Chiefs came up short on four straight plays at the New England 5 yard line in the final minute.
Croyle was 11-for-19 for 88 yards before being sacked by Adalius
Thomas with 9:24 left in the third quarter.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had already left the game because
of injury. Brady was hit by Kansas City's Bernard Pollard in the 1st quarter on a pass to Randy Moss. Brady's condition is still unknown but he did leave the field with a limp and the aid of two trainers. The loss was Kansas City's 10th straight, dating back to last season.
