(MANHATTAN)- The Kansas State Wildcats made a major statement in their win over Montana State on Saturday night, rolling up 69 points and throtteling the visitors from Bozeman. KSU scored 45 points in the 1st half alone, en route to its largest victory in six years. K-State only has two larger victories this decade: a 64 to 0 win over New Mexico State in 2001 and a 68 to 0 win over Louisiana-Monroe in 2002. Josh Freeman led the way again with 2 touchdown passes and 2 touchdown runs. On the ground, 8 different Wildcats combined for 177 yards. Former Garden Plain star Logan Dold rushed for 10 yards and his first career college touchdown. K-State blocked two punts and intercepted two passes. Ulla Pomele led the way on defense with 7 tackles and a forced fumble. The Wildcats improved to (2-0) on the season and will take next Saturday off before traveling to Louisville on Wednesday September 17th.
