Royals closer Joakim Soria was named to the American League All-Star team on Sunday. Soria has 23 saves for the Royals this season. He also has one of the league's lowest E.R.A's for a reliever at 1.22. This is Soria's first All-Star appearance. Major League Baseball is also allowing fans to vote on-line for the final spots on each All-Star team. Kansas City Outfielder Jose Guillen is a finalist on the A.L. side. Fans can go to mlb.com and vote for Guillen by Thursday. The All-Star Game is on July 15th at Yankee Stadium in New York.
