As part of the Via Christi Pro Classic, Wichita State teamed up with the USTA to host a clinic for kids on Monday. Kids from the Boys and Girls Clubs each received a free racket and learned from current and former professional players. Among the former pros was 1994 Wimbledon Semi-Finalist Lori McKlein. McKlein helped teach the USTA's new "Quickstart" program which gives kids the basic skills needed to play tennis. Wichita State, the USTA, the Boys and Girls Clubs and Wilson sporting goods combined funds to provide the free rackets. Click the video links for more!
