Greensburg gets some help from a special visitor as it rebuilds from a deadly tornado.
The town rolled out the green carpet Thursday for NASCAR superstar Jeff Gordon. Gordon was on hand to unveil an effort between his sponsor, DuPont, and Wichita's Habitat for Humanity to build energy efficient affordable homes in Greensburg.
It's a partnership that should build at least 10 homes in the Greensburg area. "To see the devastation that has happened here an dhten to see the resilience of the people here and the hope they have," Gordon said.
Construction on the first habitat homes should begin July 24th.
