Royals trade pitcher De La Rosa to Rockies

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Kansas City Royals have traded minor
league pitcher Jorge De La Rosa to the Colorado Rockies in exchange
for a player to be named.
De La Rosa has spent the season playing for Triple-A Omaha and
will be assigned to Triple-A Colorado Springs.
The 27-year-old left-hander is 3-0 with a 1.64 ERA in four
starts for Omaha this season.
He was 11-16 with a 5.64 ERA in 36 appearances for the Royals in
2006 and 2007. He was acquired in 2006 from Milwaukee for infielder
Tony Graffanino.
