WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- Wichita State commits four errors to help
Kansas State pull out a 3-2 win over the Shockers.
Each team managed eight hits, so Wichita State (33-10) mishaps --
two by second baseman Taylor Brown -- proved to be the difference.
Justin Bloxom and Byron Wiley each had two hits and an RBI for
Kansas State (21-23), while the Shocker offense was led by Ryan
Jones and Conor Gillaspie, also with a pair of hits each.
A.J. Morris (4-2) gave up two runs on five hits in four innings
to get the win for the Wildcats, with Daniel Edwards getting his
eighth save of the season.
Khol Nanney (4-1), who came in to start the fifth inning, gave
up a run on two hits to take the loss.
