KU basketball standout Mario Chalmers will enter the NBA draft. The Jayhawk junior will not hire an agent, leaving open the option of returning to Kansas.
The 6-foot-1 junior said Wednesday that he will enter the June
26 draft only if he's projected to be taken in the first round. He
said he's currently projected to be picked between 25th and 35th,
but hopes to move up through predraft workouts.
Chalmers was named Most Outstanding Performer at the Final Four. His clutch three-pointer lifted the Jayhawks into overtime, where they eventually defeated Memphis 75-68.
