COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) -- Darby Brown belted a grand slam in
the first inning and Texas A&M starter Brooks Raley lasted into the
seventh in a 7-2 win over Kansas State on Friday night.
Raley (5-0) allowed one run on six hits and Kyle Thebeau pitched
2 2/3 innings of one-hit relief as the Aggies (24-6, 7-3 Big 12)
won their seventh straight.
Kansas State starter Brad Hutt (3-3) was roughed up for seven
runs, all earned, on six hits in 5 2/3 innings. Adam Muenster had
two hits for the Wildcats (15-13, 2-5).
Dane Carter, who scored on Brown's grand slam, also had two hits
and an RBI.
