Villanova meets Kansas in regional semifinals

DETROIT (AP) -- Villanova is an underdog when the Wildcats take
on top-seeded Kansas tomorrow in the NCAA Midwest Regional
semifinals in Detroit.
But Villanova guard Dwayne Anderson says the team has been in
that position before.
Kansas coach Bill Self says Villanova plays hard and is a great
defensive team.
Kansas (33-3) is scoring 81 points a game and has five
double-digit scorers, led by Brandon Rush at 13 points a game.
Villanova (22-12) will play without center Casiem Drummond, who
broke his right ankle in the second-round win over Siena.
The Wildcats will rely heavily on guard Scottie Reynolds. He
averages 16 points and has helped Villanova improve defensively
since a five-game losing streak dropped it to 13-8.
