Kansas looks for way to slow Beasley

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) -- Kansas State goes for a season sweep when
the Wildcats take on the sixth-ranked Kansas Jayhawks tomorrow
night.
In their previous matchup, super freshman Michael Beasley scored
25 points in an 84-75 victory that snapped the Jayhawks' 24-year
winning streak on Kansas State's home court.
Beasley comes into the rematch in Allen Fieldhouse averaging 26
points and 12.5 rebounds in conference games.
Kansas is 25-3 overall, 10-3 in the Big 12, and trails Number 5
Texas by one game in the conference standings with only three to
play.
Kansas State has dropped three straight and four out of five
since beating Kansas.
The Wildcats are 18-9 overall, 8-5 in the conference.
