TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Tulsa will play its first Sunday regular-season game in 11 years this season when it hosts Central Florida in a rematch of the Conference USA championship game.

After playing several weekday games over the past few years, the Golden Hurricane will play their first Sunday game since 1997 when they host the Golden Knights on October 26th in a game nationally televised by ESPN.

UCF beat Tulsa 44-25 to win the Conference USA title last year, behind 284 rushing yards by record-setting tailback Kevin Smith. Tulsa beat the Golden Knights for the 2005 C-USA championship.

TU opens the season September 6th at North Texas and will return home for the grand re-opening of renovated H.A. Chapman Stadium against New Mexico two weeks later.

Tulsa beat Bowling Green in the GMAC Bowl to finish Graham's first season as head coach at 10-and-4, tying the school record for wins.
