Alan Voskuil scored a career-high 30
points as Texas Tech beat Number 18 Kansas State 84-75.

Bill Walker scored 27 points and Michael Beasley added 22 for
Kansas State (17-6, 7-2), which came into the game in first place
in the Big 12.

Kansas State trailed 60-38 with about 14 minutes left but within
70-66 with 5:34 left. That was as close as the Wildcats could get.

Tech coach Pat Knight won his first game since taking over for
his father.

Kansas State drops to 17-6 overall, 7-2 in the conference.
Kansas is 8-2 in the Big 12 and Texas is 7-2.
