Derrick Brown had 14 points and 12 rebounds as
Xavier beat Kansas State 103-77 in Cincinnati.

Xavier (10-3) opened the game with a 14-point run to give Kansas
State (9-4) its most lopsided loss this season.

Point guard Drew Lavender led the Musketeers with 21 points.

Bill Walker scored a career-high 31 for Kansas State and Fred
Brown added 25.

Michael Beasley entered the game averaging 25 points and with 12
consecutive double-doubles but was only 1-of-6 from the field for
five points.

On Kansas State's first three possessions, Beasley had a charge,
missed a shot and was called for traveling.
