Lions 25 Chiefs 20

DETROIT (AP) -- The Detroit Lions have ended their
playoff-killing six-game losing streak by downing the Kansas City
Chiefs 25-20.
Paris Lenon returned an interception 61 yards for a touchdown to
put the Lions ahead 19-0 with nine minutes left in the first half.
But the Lions couldn't secure the victory until Chiefs receiver
Samie Parker foolishly dived to the ground at the Detroit 30 after
getting a lateral with no time left.
The Lions improved to 7-and-8 despite gaining just 236 total
yards and losing running back Kevin Jones to a right knee injury in
the first half. Jon Kitna threw for only 115 yards and one
interception for the Lions.
Damon Huard passed for 305 yards after replacing Brodie Croyle,
who injured his right hand in the second period. Huard threw a
34-yard touchdown pass to Dwayne Bowe to get the Chiefs within
22-20 in the fourth quarter.
The Chiefs fell to 4-and-1 with their eighth straight loss.
