WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- Ramon Clemente had 11 points and 10
rebounds as Wichita beat Louisiana State 67-47 tonight.
The Shockers (6-4) held LSU to its worst shooting half of the
season in the first half, then held the Tigers to two points in a
key eight-minute span of the second half.
Wichita State's Phil Thomasson led all scorers with 15 points.
Marcus Thornton had 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Tigers
(6-4), whose previous three losses came by a combined 10 points.
Shockers coach Gregg Marshall recorded his 200th career victory,
most of those coming as coach at Winthrop.
