No. 3 Jayhawks go on early run and beat DePaul 84-66
LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) -- Sasha Kaun scored the first six points in
a 24-to-1 first-half run that pushed third-ranked Kansas soaring
past DePaul 84-to-66 today.
The game was in front of the 100th consecutive sellout in Allen
Fieldhouse.
Mario Chalmers had 12 points, nine rebounds, seven steals and
seven assists for the Jayhawks (9-0).
Sophomore guard Sherron Collins returned for the Jayhawks after
sitting out six games following surgery for a stress fracture on
his foot.
Kaun had 15 points for Kansas. Dar Tucker had 18 for DePaul.
