Royals complete trade with Tigers

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The Kansas City Royals sent left-hander
Danny Christensen to Detroit to complete the trade that brought
right-hander Roman Colon to Kansas City in July.
Kansas City also reinstated Colon, right-handers Luke Hudson and
Joe Nelson, and infielders Angel Sanchez and Ryan Shealy from the
60-day disabled list.
Nelson missed the 2007 season after having shoulder surgery in
March. He was designated for assignment. He was 1-1 with nine saves
and a 4.43 ERA in 43 appearances with the Royals in 2006.
Christensen was 2-15 with a 6.21 ERA in 27 games for Double-A
Wichita in 2007. He completes the July 13 trade with Detroit as the
player to be named later.
