MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) -- Kansas State is hoping to bounce back
this week when the Wildcats take on Nebraska.
Kansas State (5-4, 3-3) lost at Iowa State last week, giving the
Cyclones their first conference victory. Coach Ron Prince says the
loss hurt, but it doesn't mean his team is ready to give in.
The goal now to win against the struggling Cornhuskers, who have
lost five straight.
So far this season, Kansas State has come back to win at least
one game after each of its losses. Senior guard Logan Robinson says
the Wildcats will have to display that ability again on Saturday.
Quarterback Josh Freeman will be making his first trip to
Freeman originally committed to Nebraska but changed his mind
after Prince was hired at Kansas State.
